Here We Are.

Busy days here in Keller America. This past weekend we did some yard work and ate a free meal.

Question? If your hedge trimmer broke on you and you were too cheap to go to the local hardware store and buy another one, what would you use to trim the hedges that your wife said you had to before you could eat dinner?
a. Hand Clippers
b. Go buy a new trimmer
c. Your Chainsaw.

If you picked C then you know me pretty well. Why not use the chainsaw? It cuts things, fast and is easy to use. The neighbors thought that I was bordering on white trash, but that was not near as bad as what I did with the two trash cans full of trimmings.

How do you feel about free food? Me, I am all over it. I was known in college for finding ways to enter The Bean without paying, which is wrong and I know that at 34, but at 19 it seemed harmless and fun and ACU was taking so much from me that I thought they owed me little. Anyway, free is good. So after a long day of yard work, my land owner said we were going to Chic Fil A for dinner and it would be cheap, if not free. I was in. The deal was this. If you wore your favorite team shirt or hat to Chic Fil A then they would give you a free chicken sandwich. Great deal, so piled in the truck and head to Chic Fil A with the rest of North Tarrant County. Feeding a family of four for only $5.11 is so worth the effort in my opinion. White trash or not?

I would like to put out a special word for the Chic Fil A company and encourage you to visit their stores. Good food, nice people and they are giving away a lot of food these days which is really great of them. I am sure they are still making money, which they should, but their effort to help people get a good meal in a bad economy is kind an appreciated.
