Praise God! Don is still in surgery but the nurse came out to report that the aorta is fully repaired. The valve on the heart was corrected when the aorta was repaired so no further intervention will be needed on the valve. The surgery will probably last until 9:00 pm. Please continue to pray that all goes well as he is removed from the bypass machine and taken to ICU. We are thankful for your thoughts and prayers.

Byron, We love you and Sharla so much and we are praying for your dad and your mom and the family during this incredibly stressful evening. You are such an amazing young man and far wiser than we were at your age! Blake and ??? is in good hands! We will keep watch on your BLOG for updates. What an amazing tool this thing is for communicating when we can't possibly reach out to everyone who wants to know what's going on!
Lord, tonight I pray for Don and his complete healing and without complications. I pray peace for Byron and his mom and the family and the peace, Father that only comes from you. Hold them up and hold them close to you. May they sense that there are so many praying for them this hour. In Jesus name, Amen.
We are praying for all of you! We are so thankful to our mighty God that He worked through the surgeon to skillfully perform his task. We will continue to lift up Uncle Don to our Father's throne for his recovery and strength.
