This is Shar and Blake just before they entered the Sponge Bob 4d ride. It was one of those movies that have the chairs that move with the action on the screen. I got sick but Blake absolutely loved it. I voted that we only ride it once.
Another big thrill for Blake was driving the Bumber Cars. You have to be 42 inches to ride a lot of these rides and Blake comes it a close 40 inches, so Shar layered socks in the bottom of his shoes and we taught him how to stand on his toes when he stood at the measuring board.
Blake really likes roller coasters. He loves the speed and the fact that everybody is yelling and not getting in trouble. This is Blake and mom leaving on the Runaway Mine Train.
Blake was really excited about the Conquistador ride, which is that big boat right at the beginning of the park that goes back and forth and goes really high. He loved it. Dad loved that he did not have to go on it.
Story time for Blake and Anna in the morning. Blake likes to go see his little sister and sometimes read to her and sometimes he likes to show her how to climb out of the bed. It's good bonding time for them.
There is bird nest that is built in the small live oak tree in our back yard. Today while I was outside I noticed two baby birds on the ground. They are still fuzzy and unable to fly. I had Anna see how close she could get to one of the birds and this was the result.

I love the way you are teaching your son to deceive amusement park authorities! ;-) He sounds like he had way more fun at Six Flags than our family last summer -- we're not big on roller coasters or anything like that.
Ashley took swim lessons at Temple High -- screamed the whole time. Good times!
LOVE the picture with Anna and the baby bird! You and Sharla just keep amazing me with your gift of parenting! Hope my kids have great mentors like you someday!
So good to see all of you this past weekend! Can't think about you not being at WH, but the road goes to Keller and from Keller to Abilene, so we'll see you again soon!
Blessings as you endure the goodbyes. :(
