The Week in Review

It has been busy at the Bundy house the last several days. Football and school are in full swing and we have had more visitors since we moved to Keller then we did in a year of living in Temple. Here is the short list of what has been happening.
In football we had our first scrimmage last Saturday against Mansfield Timberview. The entire scrimmage went really well and the kids and coaches all did great.
School started on Monday, and I can't believe it is already here. The first week of coaching and teaching and going to meetings is just so tiring, but I enjoy being around the school when it is full of kids, and Keller High is full of kids; almost 3000.
Over this past weekend we had a visit from my side of the family. They stayed about 15 hours and then had to leave again. Long story short is that they were driving a motor home from Chicago back to San Diego and we were on the way, so they came by, went to church, ate lunch, went swimming and then had to get back on the road. My dad, sister, brother-in-law and their three older boys all came. It was great to see them again. Anna went right to my dad and was so happy be with her Grandon. Blake and Anna both love to be with the cousins and they all had a great time.

One Tuesday night we had more company when most of our college group got together at our house. Chris and Mindy and their son Cade were in town. This was a great reason to get Mario, the Gil's and the Qualls to come over and eat and hang out. It was great to be with such wonderful friends again. I have said before that the friends that I made at A.C.U. impacted my life significantly, and I always cherish the time we can have together. The problem is now there are too many kids. Below is our best attempt at a group picture.

Here is the picture of just the guys (missing BYoung, Izzy and Ramsey). It is wonderful to be with these people again. We have been through many struggles together, and God has been faithful to answer the prayers that we offer on behalf of each other. May God continue to answer the prayers that we send up daily for the people that we love.

This is Blake and Baby Cade. We prayed for Chris and Mindy for a long time and when Baby Cade did come Blake was so excited that he would have another friend. It was powerful to see our dear friends holding their son. God has been good to us all.

I love this picture of Blake and Cade. I haven't updated my blog since we got back to VA, but I plan on adding this pic to it soon.
We had so much fun and can't wait to see y'all again. We'll be in the area during Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years. It will be here before we know it!
Love y'all!
